Setting
Buchanan Castle lies in a forested residential estate with every tree native to Western Europe – five different types of Oak and several soaring Pacific Coast Redwoods. Below the ridge lies a flat plain, with the meandering Endrick Water flowing through.
To the North, beyond the bonnie, bonnie banks, there is the beginning of the highlands with the Luss Hills, the Arrochar Alps and Ben Lomond itself.
Within this wonderful landscape you will find the hidden gem of Scottish golf, Buchanan Castle Golf Club.
Buchanan Castle is a particular pleasure for the touring golfer, close to the famous attractions of the Trossachs and is perfectly served by the lovely village of Drymen, just over a mile away.
