Terms and Conditions for Entry to Open Competitions

The following are the terms and

conditions for entry to all 2012 Open

Competitions played at Buchanan Castle

Golf Club.

1.  The competition will be run under R & A and local rules.

2.  Ties will be decided on card count back using back nine

scores.

3.  No competitor may win more than one prize.

4.  All players must have a current CONGU handicap and

be a full playing member of a golf club affiliated to the

Scottish, English, Welsh or Irish Golf Unions.

5.  Refunds must be requested in writing, or by e - mail, by

entrants who cancel more than 2 (two) weeks prior to the

competition date.

6.  Refunds will not be given to entrants who withdraw

within 2 (two) weeks of the competition date. The entry fee

less expenses will be donated to a charity of

the committees's choice.

7.  Players will be notified of their starting time no less than

1 (one) week before the competition date.

8.  If the competition is cancelled, more than 24 hours but

less than 1 (one) week prior to the due date of competition,

then monies will be refunded less an administration charge.

9.  If the competition is cancelled less than 24 hours or on

the day of the competition, a third of the entry fee will be

retained for expenses with the remainder returned to the

competitor.

10. In the event of cancellation, the competition will NOT be

replayed.
