Club Rules & Membership Terms

By becoming a member of Buchanan Castle Golf Club, you agree to abide by the following club rules and membership terms.

Respect & Conduct

We pride ourselves on being a welcoming and inclusive golf club. Members are expected to treat fellow members, visitors, staff, volunteers and neighbours with courtesy and respect at all times.

Abusive, aggressive, discriminatory or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or termination of membership.

Golf Etiquette

Members are expected to:

• Respect the course and facilities

• Repair divots and pitch marks

• Rake bunkers after use

• Keep pace of play moving

• Follow any local course rules in place

• Respect staff instructions regarding course conditions and safety

Tee Bookings

Members should arrive in good time for booked tee times and cancel bookings they can no longer attend.

Repeated no-shows or misuse of the booking system may result in temporary booking restrictions or further action by the club.

The club reserves the right to amend or cancel tee times due to weather, maintenance, competitions or operational requirements.

Membership Payments

Membership fees will be collected monthly from the payment method provided at sign up unless otherwise agreed.

Members are responsible for ensuring payment details remain accurate and up to date.

Failure to maintain payments may result in suspension of membership privileges.

Membership Cancellation

Should you wish to cancel your membership, you must contact the club directly at:

membership@buchanancastlegolfclub.co.uk

Cancellation requests must be made directly with the club and not solely through your bank or payment provider.

Visitors & Guests

Members are responsible for the conduct of any guests they introduce to the club and should ensure visitors follow club etiquette and rules while on the premises.

Liability

All players and visitors use the course and club facilities at their own risk.

Buchanan Castle Golf Club accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings while on club premises.

Club Management Rights

The club reserves the right to amend membership categories, pricing, benefits, policies and club rules where necessary.

Membership may be suspended or terminated where the club believes a member’s behaviour has breached these rules or brought the club into disrepute.

By proceeding with membership registration and payment, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Club Rules & Membership Terms.
